New Fiona & Cake Series From KaBOOM!

In July, KaBOOM!, an imprint of BOOM! Studios, will launch the new mini-series Adventure Time with Fionna & Cake: Card Wars, with the hit characters from the Cartoon Network TV show!

Jen Wang had such a blast with the Adventure Time with Fionna & Cake miniseries created by Natasha Allegri (Bee & PuppyCat) that she couldn’t wait to rejoin her favorite heroes in an all-new story with artist Britt Wilson (Adventure Time with Fionna & Cake). The new story actually features the Cryptozoic card game, Card Wars, which itself was created from the game in the show. It's so meta!

Cake is a Card Wars champ who can’t be beat, and Fionna...is really tired of getting beaten! They set off in search of a challenger who can really test Cake’s mettle. When they stumble across some gamer slugs, they think they’ve hit the jackpot, but these guys have never heard of Cake and refuse to even play with her!

Look for the six-issue mini-series Adventure Time with Fionna & Cake: Card Wars #1 starting this July!
